The team at Roofing Life believes in supporting the local community in a variety of ways. One way we give back is to support the men and women who sacrifice so much in the line of duty as police officers and deputies.
Roofing Life partner company Ronco Construction & Supply recently donated $5,000 to the Rogers County Law Enforcement Association in an effort to support the important work being done by this organization. This charity group has been serving Rogers County in Oklahoma since 1973.
The RCLEA is a community-backed organization dedicated to bringing Rogers County Law Enforcement together through commonality of service, pride, excellence, and dedication.
The money given by Ronco Construction will help the RCLEA with several different programs.
The RCLEA helps families of officers who’ve been injured or lost in the line of duty by providing material and monetary support as well as emotional and prayer support.
With Christmas right around the corner, RCLEA’s “Shop With A Cop” program is getting ready to start again. This program allows underprivileged children to go Christmas shopping with Rogers County Police Officers. This excellent program helps bring some Christmas spirit and love to those who may not have experienced it otherwise.
The RCLEA supports Rogers County youth in other ways through mentorship programs, while the organization also supplements local law enforcement with their training and equipment needs.
Ronco’s own, Kyle Baker, is a detective with Rogers County Sheriff’s Office. We are proud to call him a colleague and a friend.
